Installation Requirements & Methods
Wall Specifications
- Concrete Wall: Thickness ≥ 8″ (203mm); compressive strength 2500-3000 psi (17.2-20.7 MPa); meets ASTM C39 standard
- Cinder Block Wall: Meets ASTM C216/C90 specifications; nominal width ≥ 8″ (203mm); mount in solid part (≥1″ /25mm from block side); do not drill into mortar joints
- Wood Stud Wall: Mount bolts must be anchored to stud centers; secure to two studs with two lag bolts per stud; use “edge to edge” stud finder for accuracy
- Plaster/Drywall: If thickness >16mm, custom fasteners must be provided by installer
Installation Steps (At Least Two People Required)
- Preparation: Verify all components are intact; confirm wall meets specifications; mark display center as installation reference
- Wall Plate Positioning: Place wall plate (AA) at desired location; align with stud centers (wood stud wall) or mark holes (concrete/cinder block wall); use spirit level to ensure levelness
- Drilling & Anchor Installation: Drill 3/8″ (10mm) diameter holes 2.5″ (65mm) deep (concrete/cinder block wall); insert anchors (H) flush with wall
- Fix Wall Plate: Secure wall plate to wall with screws (G) and washers (2); tighten firmly but do not over tighten
- Attach Hooks to Display: Install hooks to display’s recess fixings using matching hardware
- Mount Display: Hook display onto the wall plate; secure with locking tabs on both hooks
- Final Fixing: Tighten four screws to prevent accidental popping open of the bracket
